Hey Revolution Fan, How are you going? I regularly see your posts on the SAAP site as well. Seems like we both have great taste in games. Mate what do you enjoy more SAAP or FM 2005 and why?

Mostly because it's much more challenging. I don't believe I've lost a game in FM2005 (except Reading vs. Arsenal), where as in SAAP, I can't remember the last time I won two games in a row. Which do you prefer?

I love some of the media things and the look of FM and I have setup the A League on it so I can play as Melbourne Victory. I find that it is too slow for my liking.
I play the easiest level on SAAP and I have just won the premier league, the FA cup and the league cup with QPR. Will be interesting to see how I go.
I would have to say SAAP due to the speed factor.

There are definitely features of FM I like better, but it's just not a challenge for me anymore (using a 4-5-1 seems to work no matter how weak a team you have). I still suck at SAAP (even on Easy), so that's a challenge.

I am actually playing FM at the moment but I cant wait for SAAP to do the psuedo internet and improve the match graphics. I feel SAAP need some options like the job offer screen where you can apply for other jobs and make board requests. These are just my opinions of course.

I'm still there, The Chairman has been dormant for a month though unfortunately involving loss of the programming language, I now have it again so work will proceed. It will be good, but I need help with events.

Hi Statto,
When you say 'help with events' do you mean that in the non-programming sense? If so, then I am willing to help as I am very interested in your game too. If it's the programming context, well the will to help is still there but not the ability :)

Yes, for instance everything from press conferences to players leaving your team to bathroom facilities running amok.
I've got a file that I will post online if people are interested in adding to it.

Here's the options file for the game. If you even add one or two that would be a help, or if you don't understand what's going on (prob true) you can let me know. In any case, if you have an idea you can't yet represent in the options file, let me know. There are up to four options possible. www.stattosoftware.com/Options.txt
